Every number on this site, and where it came from.

What the figures describe

Outcomes, not activity.

The tree project is the clearest case of the rule this page runs on: the number that matters is how many trees survive a year later, not how many seedlings were put in the ground. We count outcomes where we can, and we say plainly when we cannot yet.

We would rather show nothing than an estimate.

Where the money goes

Our spending split

The expenditure breakdown is not published yet. We will show the split between projects, field support, fundraising and administration only once the accounts are signed off, each figure linked to the page of the accounts it comes from.
